MATTIA BERRINI - CURRICULUM VITAE
Originally from Milan, Italy, Mattia Berrini has studied in Italy with Fulvio Luciani.
In 2010, he received his Diploma in Violin at Pavia's Conservatory of Music, ITALY.
During his studies, Berrini participated to orchestral courses at Accademia Internazionale della Musica of Milan and took part as well in masterclasses with important violinists such as Eyal Kless, Paulo Bosisio and Yehonatan Berick.
Berrini played as freelance for several orchestras in Europe including the United Europe Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra Sinfonica Giovanile del Piemonte, Orchestra Barocca di Cremona, and the Philharmonic Ensemble Orchestra of Japan.
During 2012 he participated in the Festival de Inverno of Rio de Janeiro - Brazil. In the same year he also participated in the Festival MiTo in Milan as member of Milano Classica Orchestra.
As chamber musician Mattia Berrini performed in important venues in North America such as the Winspear Centre in Edmonton (AB), the Rolston Hall at the Banff Centre for the Arts, the Sony Centre in Toronto (ON) and the Symphony Space in New York (NY).
Mattia is a passionate music teacher. He has a strong knowledge of Music Theory, as he studied composition for years. In Canada he collaborates with the Alberta College Conservatory of Music, the Giovanni's Music School and the Music Enrichment Program for Edmonton Public SChool.
